Pre-sales Engineer

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Technical Consultation**:
- Engage with prospective clients to understand their technical requirements and business challenges.
- Provide expert advice on how the company’s products or services can address those needs.
- Develop and present tailored solutions that align with client requirements.
- **Product Demonstrations and Presentations**:
- Conduct detailed product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of the company’s offerings.
- Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- **Proposal Development**:
- Collaborate with the sales team to create customized proposals and technical documentation.
- Provide input on the technical aspects of proposals, ensuring that solutions are feasible and aligned with client requirements.
- **Solution Design**:
- Design and architect solutions that meet the client’s technical and business needs.
- Create detailed solution designs, including configurations, integrations, and customizations as needed.
- **Proof of Concept (PoC) and Pilot Projects**:
- Plan and execute proof-of-concept (PoC) projects to demonstrate the viability and effectiveness of the proposed solutions.
- Oversee pilot projects to ensure successful implementation and address any technical issues that arise.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:
- Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities and develop strategies for closing deals.
- Serve as a liaison between the client and the technical team, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the sales process.
- **Market and Product Knowledge**:
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s products, services, and solutions.
- **Customer Relationship Management**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Provide post-sales support and assist with the onboarding process as needed.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications may be preferred.
- **Experience**: Proven experience in a presales or technical sales role, with a strong understanding of the company’s products or services.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in relevant technologies, platforms, or tools related to the company's offerings. Ability to understand and design technical solutions.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- **Problem-Solving**: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing client needs.
- **Collaboration**: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and support.
- **Customer Focus**: Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Experience with specific technologies or industry verticals relevant to the company’s products.
- Familiarity with CRM and sales management tools.
- Experience in managing or leading technical teams or projects.
