**Accountabilities and Duties**
- Deliver architectural initiatives For high scalability and better performance
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the organization's technologies and architectures.
- Communicate architectural decisions, plans, goals and strategies.
- Provide architectural direction to technical leads.
- Provide High Level designs with needed drawings
- Review and approve Low level design with team members
- Oversee the design and implementation of enterprise data and metadata structures with data analytics (Dual database structure).
- Initiate and deliver technology evaluations and recommendations including vendor evaluation.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of IT industry best practices, technologies, architectures and emerging technologies.
- Run or participate in architecture reviews and approvals
- Act as the focal point for architecture and IT standards.
- Static code reviews to achieve the right code quality.
- Advise on unit testing and test driven programming.
- Mentor team members on OOD and design patterns.
- Support presales technical architectural solutions as needed.
- Support capacity planning activities

**Experience and Qualifications Required**:

- 7+ years of experience in technical architecture and enterprise solutions
- Experience with micro service architectures
- Expert in OOP and design patterns using Java
- Experience in Security standards and familiar with security frameworks like OWASP
- Experience in service oriented architecture including use of REST services to build interconnected systems
- Ability to understand technical requirements and decompose them into work tasks
- Experience in Spring Framework or EJB and maven configuration.
- Experience in testing frameworks such as mock object frameworks, Junit, Mockito, PowerMockito, Cucumber
- Experience in SQL databases and NoSQL databases (MongoDB or Redis)
- Experience in Docker containers
- Good communication skills, fluency in written and spoken English required; other languages a plus
- Understanding of test driven development and behavior driven development is a plus
- Experience with ESB specially Mule is a plus
- Experience in API gateway paradigm and Spring cloud API gateway is a plus
- TOGAF certified is a plus
- Banking or Fintech experience is a plus
- Experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum is a plus
