Technical Sales Engineer

Job Description:
- Prepare and develop technical presentations to explain how the products’ features and the provided pre and post sales service to the customer can significantly suit the customer better than the competing products.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand the customers’ requirements and provide sales engineers with the products that meet the need of each individual customer.
- Provide post-sales support for customers; which involves discussing and troubleshooting any problems with a purchased product, making minor adjustments or repairs, and logging issues to be discussed with the production team.
- Create relationships with existing customers and make frequent visits to customers’ sites to ensure that all the products are working effectively.
- Meet with potential customers to discuss new and upcoming products, and provide leadership to other sales members.
- Attend training seminars and industry conferences to learn about industry trends and sales techniques, as well as network with other sales engineers.
- Test out new products to customers in order to record any issues, note consistent problems, and suggest solutions to enhance products’ efficiency.
- Provide training programs to the sales team members on the technical aspects of the company’s products and services.
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and status reports.
- Plan and implement effective selling strategies to achieve agreed-upon sales targets.
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
- Promote products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Reach out to customer leads through calls, and survey.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
- Responsible for expanding the customer base.
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering / science is a must.
- 3-5 years of experience in Technical sales Engineer position in Industrial Sector is preferable.
- Background and knowledge of Industrial Lubricants is a plus.
- Clear military status is a must.
- Own a car is preferable.
