Job Summary

The Food and Beverage (F&B) Junior Inventory Control Specialist plays a crucial role in managing inventory operations, ensuring that data is accurately updated on a daily basis, and preparing relevant reports accordingly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the input of sales information and oversee sales reconciliation based on established accounting sheets.
  • Validate all inventory transactions conducted for stores.
  • Liaise with various departments and parties to address issues related to sales shipments, invoices, and other matters.
  • Manage changes/updates to recipes or prices, and export relevant data to the Point of Sale (POS) systems of all relevant shops (where applicable).
  • Administer the inventory systems, including FMC and MICRO, by creating articles/units, determining recipe costs, and updating menu items in POS systems (where applicable).
  • Closely monitor Cost of Goods Sold (COGs) and consumption levels, and generate accurate reports on inventory, sales, and stock movements promptly (where applicable).
  • Conduct on-site checks at shops, verify expiry dates, perform audits on recipes, and physical stocktakes (where applicable).
  • Review inventory reports and initiate investigations when necessary (where applicable).
RequirementsQualifications, Experience, Knowledge
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of experience in Inventory management or a related field, with a preference for F&B industry experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; basic knowledge of stock accounting software.
  • Fluency in English.
