A Casino Surveillance Manager coordinates surveillance and selected compliance efforts to properly safeguard the assets of the hotel and/or casino.


What will I be doing?

A Casino Surveillance Manager will coordinate surveillance and selected compliance efforts to properly safeguard the assets of the hotel and/or casino.

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Overall responsibility of the surveillance operations
  • The operation and coordination of all Surveillance Department activities
  • To close circuit television system and back up system
  • The formulation, implementation and enforcement of Surveillance Department policies and procedures
  • Train, evaluate, supervise and terminate Surveillance Department personnel
  • Responsibility for oversight of sensitive keys and cards and dice
  • Conducts investigations and interviews individuals from any department
  • Interacts with departments as necessary
  • Responsible for the communication of sensitive and control issues to the appropriate levels
  • Perform self internal audits to ensure compliance with all Casino SOP regulations
  • Enforce and ensure compliance to the casino Standard Operating Procedures
  • Coordinate / interface with independent auditors and government agencies
  • Investigate and document all material cash variances
  • Periodically observe Soft Count and Hard Count
  • Ensure that the casino operation is in compliance with all federal, state and local laws
  • Develop, implement, evaluate and update internal control procedures
  • Assist in preparation of annual budget
  • Interview, hire, train, supervise, evaluate and discipline department staff in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Assist Casino Controller and Finance Director in the coordination of required training of CTR and SARC as well as any other necessary training to ensure compliance with regulations and local, state or federal laws
  • Coordinate and/or conduct on going training for surveillance personnel
  • Comply at all times with Hilton standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient Hotel and Casino operations
  • Approach all encounters with guests and fellow employees in a friendly, service oriented manner

  • Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including, anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving coworker and guest problems as necessary
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • College degree preferred
  • Supervisory experience desired
  • Able to work evenings, weekends and rotating shifts
  • Criminal Background/ Credit Check
  • Casino license required
  • Table Games knowledge
