Job Description

  • Ensure health and safety measures comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct investigations into all accidents, environmental incidents, near-miss incidents, and employee concerns, recording findings.
  • Execute control inspections to ensure compliance with regulations, identify, evaluate, and control detected risks.
  • Conduct new personnel induction training, emergency safety exercises, and training sessions.
  • Perform safety inspections on site facilities and equipment using the HSE checklist.
  • Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.
  • Monitor work processes and procedures to identify unsafe practices or breaches of safety regulations.
  • Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s compensation claims.
  • Ensure lifesaving and fire-fighting equipment are properly maintained, certified, and ready for immediate use.
  • Assist management in ensuring the workforce complies with HSE standards, company HSE regulations, and policies.
Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
  • Relevant experience in safety.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of industry experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Background in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
