Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses and data marts.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications and ETL workflows.
  • Optimize performance of ETL jobs and workflows for efficiency and scalability, ensuring high data quality and reliability.
  • Perform data profiling, validation, and cleansing to ensure accuracy and completeness of data integration processes.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to ETL processes, data mappings, and data lineage.
  • Monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions to ensure uninterrupted data flows.
  • Implement best practices and standards in data integration, data modeling, and ETL development.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter.
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data integration best practices.
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools and version control systems used in ETL environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Informatica PowerCenter certification is a plus.
