The purpose of the role:
The Compensation and Benefits Specialist is responsible for supporting all aspects of the payroll process by collecting and reviewing employee information and hours, calculating wages, preparing, and processing employee payments, and maintaining payroll records to ensure it is processed in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with company and government policies.
Job Description:
- Implementing policies relating to work practices, pay, employment conditions, employee welfare, etc.
- Preparing payroll operations monthly, including entering or verifying changes in the system, calculation Calculating wages, benefits, tax deductions, commissions, and timely and accurate preparation of payroll data.
- Understanding proper taxation of employer-paid benefits, including calculation of imputed income when applicable.
- Preparing and processing paychecks and cash deposits, and payroll reconciliations.
- Ensuring payroll documents and transactions match the totals in the payroll system.
- Preparing periodic payroll reports for review by management.
- Recording performance/compensation data for HR analysis.
- Performing data analysis and integrating financial information to produce quarterly headcount budget information for senior management.
- Responding to payroll-related inquiries and resolving concerns.
- Ensuring backup documentation and record retention in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for other HR operations tasks
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Human Resources.
- 3:5 years of experience in payroll.
- Strong knowhow of payroll legislations and processes
- Odoo Previous Exp. is Highly Plus
- Excellent in using MS Office applications.
- Good verbal and written English language skills.
- Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable with our location in Nasr City
