Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Technical Office Structure Engineer. The role involves preparing and reviewing structural shop drawings, coordinating with design and site teams, and ensuring that all documentation complies with project specifications and standards. The engineer will be responsible for preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), supporting quantity surveying activities, and providing technical support to construction teams. Daily tasks include resolving technical issues, checking design compatibility across disciplines, participating in progress meetings, and maintaining accurate records and reports. Collaboration with civil and electrical engineering teams to ensure integrated and constructible solutions is a key aspect of the role. Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in preparing and reviewing shop drawings and related technical documentation.
- Ability to prepare and verify BOQ and support quantity surveying tasks with accurate measurements and cost breakdowns.
- Solid background in civil engineering, with a focus on structural design, analysis, and construction methods.
- Understanding of electrical engineering interfaces relevant to structural coordination and multidisciplinary projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience in technical office work within consulting or construction environments.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, structural analysis tools).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an asset.
