R&D Manager – Agriculture Sector
Key Responsibilities
· Identify and develop new business opportunities within the agriculture sector, including farming operations, fresh produce, and agribusiness services. · Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue and growth targets. · Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, exporters, and strategic partners. · Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights in agricultural markets. · Evaluate potential agricultural projects, investments, and partnerships. · Collaborate with internal teams such as farm operations, finance, supply chain, and marketing to ensure successful project execution. · Support the development of new agricultural products, services, or market channels. · Prepare business proposals, feasibility studies, and financial projections for new initiatives. · Participate in negotiations, contracts, and partnership agreements. · Represent the company in industry events, exhibitions, and agricultural forums. #
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Administration, or a related field. · An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage. · Experience · Proficiency in Project Management, including planning, execution, and tracking project milestones. · Experience in farming operations, fresh produce, export markets, or agricultural supply chains is highly preferred.
