Managing Director – Agribusiness

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Cairo, Egypt, for a Managing Director – Agribusiness & Exports. The role includes overseeing the overall strategy and operations of the agribusiness and export departments, identifying growth opportunities in global markets, and ensuring operational efficiency throughout the value chain. The Managing Director will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with international partners, defining financial strategies, and ensuring compliance with local and international agricultural and export regulations. Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in agribusiness, export management, and international trade 15+ years of experience.
- Strong strategic planning, operational management, and business development skills
- Expertise in global market trends, supply chain management, and trading regulations
- Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and revenue forecasting
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
- Familiarity with agricultural technologies, irrigation systems, and sustainable farming practices
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus
- Master’s degree in Business, Agriculture, or a related field is preferred
- Willingness to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt, and travel internationally as needed
