Al Manaber Consulting Engineering is Hiring – Structural BIM Engineers 📍

Location:
Cairo, Egypt 💼 Employment Type: Full-Time As part of the expansion of our Cairo technical operations, Al Manaber Consulting Engineering is establishing a dedicated BIM / Post-Design Delivery Team to support projects requiring LOD 400+, structural shop drawings, detailed modeling, multidisciplinary coordination, and construction-stage technical support . We are currently hiring:
- Senior Structural BIM Engineer – 1 Vacancy
- Structural BIM Engineer – 1 Vacancy

Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed structural BIM models to LOD 400+ .
- Prepare and develop structural shop drawings using Tekla Structures and Autodesk Revit .
- Produce detailed reinforced concrete and structural models suitable for construction-stage delivery.
- Prepare structural plans, sections, details, schedules, and coordinated construction drawings.
- Model and detail structural elements including foundations, columns, walls, beams, slabs, stairs, and other structural components.
- Develop reinforcement detailing and bar-bending information where required.
- Coordinate structural models with Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines.
- Coordinate openings, sleeves, penetrations, embedded items, shafts, and builders' work requirements.
- Perform multidisciplinary clash detection and coordination using Navisworks .
- Identify and resolve constructability and coordination issues before construction.
- Incorporate approved design modifications and construction-stage changes into BIM models and shop drawings.
- Support RFIs and respond to construction-stage technical queries.
- Participate in multidisciplinary BIM coordination meetings.
- Ensure models and drawings comply with project BIM standards, QA/QC procedures, and client requirements. Senior Structural BIM Engineer Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 5–8+ years of relevant professional experience .
- Strong practical experience in structural shop drawings and construction-stage delivery .
- Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures – mandatory .
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structure .
- Good proficiency in Autodesk Navisworks and multidisciplinary BIM coordination.
- Proven experience delivering LOD 400+ structural BIM models .
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete detailing, reinforcement coordination, and construction practices.
- Ability to identify constructability problems and resolve coordination issues independently.
- Previous experience with contractors, technical offices, or specialist structural/BIM production offices is highly preferred.
- Previous experience on Saudi Arabia or GCC projects is an advantage. Structural BIM Engineer Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Approximately 3–5 years of relevant professional experience .
- Practical experience preparing structural shop drawings.
- Proficiency in Tekla Structures – mandatory .
- Good proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structure .
- Good understanding of BIM coordination and construction-stage structural detailing.
- Familiarity with Navisworks and clash detection.
- Good understanding of reinforced concrete construction and reinforcement detailing.
- Ability to coordinate structural works with architectural and MEP systems.
- Contractor, technical-office, or post-design experience is strongly preferred. Important Tekla Structures experience is a mandatory requirement for both positions. These positions require practical experience in construction-stage structural BIM and shop drawings . Candidates whose experience is limited primarily to design-stage structural modeling without shop-drawing or construction experience may not be suitable.
