Company Description MIG Innovation Group, through MIG Academy for Language, Translation and Cultural Exchange Services, is dedicated to opening opportunities for learners by offering a modern, effective approach to German language education. Founded in 2015, the organization combines language teaching with deep exposure to German culture, helping learners not only speak German but integrate it into their daily lives. MIG Academy focuses on preparing ambitious participants to succeed in both Egypt and Germany, supporting their social and cultural integration. The academy’s “Germanized” environment, curriculum, and teaching methods are designed to reflect authentic cultural, social, and political aspects of life in Germany. The team sees itself as a long-term partner to learners, providing ongoing language and cultural support that goes beyond expectations. Role Description This is a temporary, The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling, editing, and refining video content that supports MIG Academy’s educational and cultural programs, including promotional materials, social media content, and internal training videos. Daily tasks include organizing raw footage, selecting the best takes, applying transitions, music, and effects, and ensuring that visual storytelling aligns with the academy’s brand and educational objectives. The role also involves close collaboration with content creators, instructors, and marketing team members to plan video concepts, maintain consistent visual identity, and deliver projects on schedule. The Video Editor will manage file organization and backups, adhere to technical standards, and respond to feedback from stakeholders to produce polished final outputs. Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for educational, promotional, and social media content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency, mood, and quality across all projects.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, lower thirds, and visual elements that support storytelling.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing and motion tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) is highly beneficial.
- Strong visual storytelling ability, attention to detail, and an understanding of pacing, sound, and composition are required.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, take constructive feedback, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience creating content for educational institutions or language/culture-focused organizations is an advantage.
- A relevant degree, diploma, or demonstrated portfolio of video projects is preferred. If you are the creative genius we are looking for, we know your work speaks for itself. Your Portfolio or Showreel is much more important to us than your CV
