Company Description Five stars hotel located in Elgiza. Role Description The Director of Engineering – Hospitality Experience is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza. This position oversees the engineering teams responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining hospitality-related systems, platforms, and integrations. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and mentoring engineering managers and software developers, defining technical roadmaps, and coordinating with product, operations, and hospitality experience teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions. The role involves managing end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring timely execution, quality standards, and alignment with organizational goals. The Director will also be accountable for continuous improvement of engineering practices, technical documentation, and collaboration with stakeholders to refine the guest and user experience. Qualifications
• Strong Engineering Management skills, including strategic planning, resource allocation, and performance management.
• Demonstrated Team Leadership abilities to guide cross-functional engineering groups and foster an inclusive, high-performing culture.
• Hands-on experience in Software Development, with the ability to review architecture, code quality, and technical designs.
• Proficiency in Project Management, including scoping, prioritization, risk management, and delivery of complex initiatives.
• Experience with system Integration, connecting hospitality platforms and third-party services in secure and scalable ways.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Background in hospitality, travel, or customer experience domains is highly beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of implementing best practices in software engineering, reliability, and security.
