As an Offensive Security Senior Engineer, you will focus on conducting penetration testing and security assessments across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments. You will independently identify and assess security vulnerabilities, evaluate their potential impact, and provide actionable recommendations to strengthen clients’ security posture. Your Role Might Include All The Following Independently plan and execute penetration testing and red teaming engagements across web applications, APIs, infrastructure, thick-client applications, and enterprise networks. Simulate real-world adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to evaluate the organization's detection and response capabilities across physical, human, and cyber vectors. Identify and exploit common security vulnerabilities, including authentication and authorization weaknesses, injection flaws, security misconfigurations, and other application and infrastructure security risks. Design and execute social engineering scenarios, including targeted phishing, vishing, or physical security assessments, to test organizational resilience. Conduct cloud and server configuration reviews to identify security weaknesses and deviations from security best practices. Perform security-focused code reviews to identify vulnerabilities and insecure coding practices across applications and supporting components. Use a combination of manual testing techniques, custom exploit development, and industry-standard penetration testing tools to identify, validate, and assess vulnerabilities and their potential impact. Clearly document technical findings, attack paths, and impact scenarios, providing practical remediation recommendations, collaborating with both blue teams (defenders) and relevant development teams, and performing retesting where required. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, with hands-on experience in penetration testing and security assessments.
OSCP, CPTS, GPEN, CRTO, CRTE, or equivalent certifications.
Demonstrated ability to independently execute penetration testing across web applications, APIs, infrastructure, and thick-client applications, as well as cloud and server configuration reviews.
Strong understanding of common security vulnerabilities, penetration testing methodologies, and industry-standard tools and techniques, with experience in security-focused code reviews.
Very strong command of the English language, with the ability to clearly communicate technical findings, associated risks, and remediation recommendations.
