Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Cairo, Egypt. The Pharmacist will dispense medications accurately, review prescriptions for safety and appropriateness, and provide counseling to patients on proper medication use, side effects, and interactions. Responsibilities include maintaining up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products, managing inventory and storage conditions, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies. The Pharmacist will support health and personal care product recommendations, participate in patient consultation and awareness initiatives, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver a high level of customer service. The role also involves documenting patient interactions when required, contributing to continuous improvement of pharmacy operations, and adhering to quality and safety standards. Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and drug interactions, with the ability to review and validate prescriptions safely.
• Skills in patient counseling, clear communication, and providing trusted health and medication advice to diverse patient populations.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in dispensing medications, and solid organizational skills for inventory and record management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Commitment to ethical practice, regulatory compliance, and adherence to local pharmacy laws and professional standards.
• Proficiency in basic computer and pharmacy systems; familiarity with digital tools used in dispensing and documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BPharm or PharmD) from an accredited institution and valid pharmacist license/registration in Egypt.
• Previous experience in community or retail pharmacy is preferred; experience in large pharmacy chains or healthcare organizations is an advantage.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development programs provided by the company.
