Company Description Alameda Healthcare is a growing regional healthcare network founded in 1999, with leadership rooted in strong medical expertise. The network includes four tertiary care hospitals in Cairo, two of which are currently under construction, and will offer a total capacity of 890 beds once fully commissioned. Alameda Healthcare also operates facilities in Kuwait and London, along with outpatient clinics, diagnostic centers, specialist centers, pharmacies, and a rehabilitation center. Team members join a diverse, expanding organization that focuses on high-quality patient care and integrated health services. Role Description The Housekeeping Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This role oversees daily housekeeping operations to ensure clean, safe, and well-maintained patient rooms, common areas, and clinical spaces in line with healthcare hygiene standards. Responsibilities include assigning tasks to housekeeping team members, monitoring performance, inspecting rooms and facilities, coordinating laundry and linen services, and ensuring proper use of cleaning materials and equipment. The Housekeeping Supervisor will address patient and staff service requests, manage inventory of supplies, support training of new team members, and collaborate closely with nursing, facilities, and other departments to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and customer service. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills, including team coordination, task delegation, and performance monitoring.
• Candidates should possess housekeeping skills, including cleaning procedures, infection control practices, and safe handling of equipment and chemicals.
• Candidates should possess laundry-related skills, including oversight of linen collection, processing, and distribution within healthcare facilities.
• Candidates should possess customer service and communication skills to respond to patient and staff requests and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Previous experience in housekeeping supervision, preferably in hospitals or healthcare environments.
• Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and infection prevention standards applicable to healthcare settings.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills for scheduling, reporting, and inventory management are beneficial.
• Relevant diploma or vocational training in hospitality, facility management, or a related field is preferred.
