• Develop plumbing and drainage system designs, including sizing calculations and pipe layouts
• Prepare plumbing drawings, specifications and schedules for tender and construction stages
• Coordinate plumbing designs with architectural, structural and other MEP disciplines using BIM/Revit
• Ensure plumbing designs comply with applicable codes, standards and client requirements
• Support the review of contractor shop drawings and technical submittals during construction
• Respond to design queries and provide technical support to project and site teams
• Contribute to value engineering and design optimisation studies
• Support the preparation of technical reports and design basis documents Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in plumbing and drainage design within a consultancy environment
• Strong knowledge of plumbing design principles and UAE/international codes and standards
• Proficiency in plumbing design and modelling software (e.g. Revit MEP, AutoCAD)
• Experience preparing plumbing drawings, specifications and equipment schedules
• UAE experience preferred
