Technical Sales Engineer (Interior Design Engineer) Company: REGYPT

Job Type
Full-Time | On-site Experience Level: 1–5 Years Job Summary REGYPT is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer with a strong background in residential finishing, interior design, and fit-out works. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with sales skills to understand client requirements, prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations, and convert business opportunities into confirmed projects.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and commercial quotations for residential finishing projects.
* Calculate project costs, including materials, labor, waste allowances, and profit margins.
* Conduct site visits, take measurements, and assess project requirements.
* Review architectural and interior design drawings and recommend suitable technical solutions.
* Meet with clients to understand their needs, budgets, and project specifications.
* Present and negotiate technical and commercial proposals.
* Follow up on client inquiries and sales opportunities through to project closing.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and contractors.
* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project handover and execution.
* Monitor finishing materials, supplier availability, and market prices in Egypt. Job Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
* 1–5 years of relevant experience in Technical Sales, Interior Design, Fit-Out, or Residential Finishing.
* Practical experience in BOQs, quantity surveying, cost estimation, and quotation preparation.
* Good knowledge of finishing works, including electrical, plumbing, flooring, gypsum board, painting, and related materials.
* Experience conducting site visits and taking measurements.
* Good knowledge of local suppliers, finishing materials, and market prices.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
* Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
* Ability to prepare technical and commercial proposals and manage client follow-ups.
* Car ownership is preferred due to site visits and mobility requirements. Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience in technical sales or selling residential finishing and fit-out services.
* A proven ability to convert client inquiries into confirmed projects.
