Senior Network Security Engineer

About the Role
Mantrac Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Security Engineer to join our Group IT team and support the security of a global network infrastructure spanning more than 20 countries. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and continuously enhancing network security solutions that protect business-critical systems, cloud environments, and enterprise networks from cyber threats. This role requires a hands-on security professional with strong expertise in Fortinet and Cisco security technologies, capable of driving security initiatives, improving operational resilience, and ensuring compliance with corporate security standards.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network security solutions across the Group.
• Manage and support security technologies including:
• FortiGate Firewalls
• VPN Solutions
• Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)
• Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
• Network Access Control (Cisco ISE)
• Security Management Platforms
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with SOC teams to investigate security alerts and implement corrective actions.
• Design and implement Network Access Control (NAC) policies for employees, guests, contractors, and IoT devices.
• Ensure high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery capabilities for security infrastructure.
• Participate in security assessments, audits, and risk mitigation initiatives.
• Lead and support network security projects, upgrades, and technology implementations.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, standards, procedures, and architecture diagrams.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend security enhancements to strengthen the organization's security posture.
• Work closely with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, and Business teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on network security best practices. Job Specification Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Security, or a related field. Experience
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Network Security and Enterprise Infrastructure.
• Experience managing and supporting large-scale enterprise security environments.
• Strong experience with Fortinet and Cisco security technologies.
• Experience in incident response, security operations, and network troubleshooting. Technical Skills
