Role Description The Junior Mechanical Technical Office Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This role supports mechanical engineering activities within the technical office, including reviewing design drawings, preparing shop drawings, and assisting in material submittals and technical documentation. Daily tasks involve coordinating with project teams, vendors, and site engineers to ensure mechanical systems are correctly implemented, aligned with specifications, and compliant with relevant codes and standards. The engineer also helps in cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and technical evaluations, while contributing to problem-solving for mechanical issues that arise during project execution. Collaboration, documentation accuracy, and timely support to project delivery are key aspects of this position. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair to support mechanical systems and assets.
• 2-4 Years Of Experience
• Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance to help plan and implement proactive service schedules.
• Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical design, construction drawings, and relevant standards (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting systems).
• Proficiency in CAD software and MS Office for technical documentation and reporting.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate between office and site teams.
