Responsibilities:
• Lead release management and testing activities for assigned projects and system enhancements.
• Develop and maintain test plans, ensuring alignment with business requirements and project timelines.
• Oversee functional, integration, user acceptance, regression, and non-functional testing activities.
• Assess release readiness and provide deployment recommendations based on testing outcomes and risk assessments.
• Manage the defect lifecycle, including prioritization, escalation, retesting, and closure validation.
• Identify and communicate release risks, testing gaps, and unresolved issues to management. Job
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Advanced degree or executive education in Release Management, Testing Governance, Quality Assurance, Technology Delivery, Project Management, or Digital Transformation is preferred.
• For Manager level: 6–8 years of relevant experience in release management, software testing, functional testing, UAT coordination, defect management, technology delivery, system implementation, quality assurance, banking operations or transformation control.
• For Senior Manager level: 8–10+ years of relevant experience, with exposure to complex release cycles, testing governance, defect lifecycle management, IT/business coordination and release readiness activities.
• Banking or financial services experience is strongly preferred, with proven exposure to non-core application releases, testing governance, test planning, defect lifecycle management, IT/business coordination, release readiness, and post-release stabilization. Preferred Certifications:
• ISTQB Advanced / Expert, ITIL Foundation or ITIL Managing Professional, Agile / Scrum, PMP, COBIT, Test Automation certification or equivalent certification.
