Role Description The Senior Pre Sales Light Current role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, Egypt. The person in this role collaborates with the sales team to understand client requirements and translate them into tailored low-current and smart building solutions, including security, networking, and automation systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing technical proposals, solution designs, and cost estimates, supporting client presentations and demonstrations, and responding to RFPs and tenders. The role involves coordinating with engineering and project teams to ensure solution feasibility, conducting site visits and needs assessments, and providing pre-sales technical guidance to clients and internal stakeholders. This position also contributes to maintaining product knowledge, preparing documentation, and supporting training for sales staff on light current systems and smart technologies. Qualifications
• Strong Communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Customer Service and client-facing skills to manage expectations, build trust, and support long-term relationships.
• Sales and Pre-sales experience, ideally in low-current systems, smart homes, or building technologies.
• Sales Management and Training capabilities to support sales teams, mentor junior staff, and contribute to performance improvement.
• Relevant technical background in electrical engineering, electronics, IT, or a related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Hands-on experience with low-current systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarm, networking, BMS, or similar) and smart building solutions.
• Strong analytical and proposal-writing skills, with experience in preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and solution designs.
• Proficiency in using office productivity tools and technical design software; familiarity with CAD or similar tools is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site, manage multiple opportunities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in system integration or similar environments in Egypt or the MENA region is an advantage.
