About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with 6+ years of experience to design, implement, automate, and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure and deployment environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD, containerization, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, and automation. You will work closely with Development, QA, Security, and Operations teams to improve software delivery, system reliability, scalability, and overall engineering efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, highly available, and secure infrastructure.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Manage cloud infrastructure across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Manage and optimize Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and infrastructure provisioning.
• Establish and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and production issues.
• Improve system reliability, availability, performance, and scalability.
• Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Work closely with development teams to improve application deployment and operational readiness.
• Implement DevOps and security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Manage configuration, secrets, certificates, and environment-specific deployments.
• Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-incident improvements.
• Develop and maintain scripts and automation using Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
• Perform infrastructure capacity planning and cost optimization.
• Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical recommendations.
• Mentor junior and mid-level DevOps engineers and contribute to engineering standards and best practices. Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration.
• Good understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Experience with Git and Git-based development workflows.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, New Relic, or similar.
• Strong understanding of security principles and secure infrastructure practices.
• Experience troubleshooting complex production environments.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
