. Role Overview: The Process Excellence Lead drives measurable gains in efficiency, quality and cost across the company Agrumaria Egypt’s manufacturing and support processes. The role owns the continuous improvement (CI) system: identifying waste, leading structured improvement projects, and embedding standard work so gains are sustained. Sitting within Technical Development & Innovation, the role connects improvement work with Quality, HSE, Sustainability and Regulatory, partners closely with Operations, and builds a CI culture across the organization. In your role you will:
• Define and lead the annual Continuous Improvement roadmap, manage the CI project portfolio, monitor KPIs, and prioritize process improvement opportunities aligned with business objectives.
• Lead and facilitate Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to improve operational performance, reduce waste and inefficiencies, increase productivity, and deliver validated financial benefits.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, implement visual management and best practices, and ensure compliance with quality, safety, food safety, and regulatory standards.
• Design and deliver CI training programs, coach leaders and process owners, and foster a culture of continuous improvement through employee engagement and idea-generation initiatives.
• Establish and monitor process performance metrics, support digital transformation and automation projects, and drive sustainability improvements by reducing energy, water, and material losses. The ideal candidate has:
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Production or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• 6–8 years of experience in manufacturing, including at least 3 years leading CI or operational excellence projects.
• Proven, quantified results from improvement projects (savings, OEE, waste reduction). Nice to have:
• Strong knowledge and practical application of Lean methodologies and tools, including Value Stream Mapping (VSM), 5S, SMED, TPM, Kaizen, and Standard Work to drive operational excellence.
• Expertise in Six Sigma (DMAIC), statistical process analysis, and structured root cause investigation using methodologies such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, and 8D.
• Proficiency in OEE measurement, loss analysis, process mapping, and development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and process reliability.
• Advanced analytical skills using MS Excel, Power BI, and Minitab, combined with project management experience in tracking performance, benefits realization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to facilitate workshops, deliver training programs, lead change management activities, engage stakeholders effectively, and communicate fluently in Arabic and professional English.
