CID Consulting is excited to announce the
launch of its Internship program, where we’re looking for exceptional
graduating seniors to embark on a knowledge-enriching journey where they learn
the ins and outs of management and development consulting. Our internship
program will help you experience the essence of consulting through hands-on
learning, building your business acumen, and bridging talents and passions with
business practices.
Who are we?
CID Consulting is an internationally
recognized Egyptian consulting firm that delivers integrated management and
development consulting solutions for organizations in the public, private and
non-profit sectors.
As a leading consultancy for local, regional,
and international organizations looking to understand the Egyptian market, CID
has successfully delivered over 300 projects to a diverse portfolio of 200
clients across MENA, North America, and Europe.
What will you do?
There are four tracks for the internship:
Sustainability & Social Impact, Finance & Accounting, Marketing &
Communications and Business Development. In all tracks, you will work with our
team on various projects where we empower our clients to leverage their
capabilities to overcome their challenges and achieve their objectives. You
will support us in providing our clients with research-based, high-quality innovative
solutions that meet clients’ needs and exceed their expectations. You will
develop several skills during your internship, including problem-solving,
research skills, presentation skills, and project management skills, and learn
core consulting techniques. Below are
key responsibilities
that are typically assigned for intern programs: Sustainability & Social Impact Track:
• Learn the foundations of consulting under the Sustainability and Social Impact practice for clients in private and public sectors.
• Conduct and present research as it pertains to the various clients/projects/sectors of operation.
• Contribute to the development of recommendations to clients under the Sustainability and Social Impact practice area.
• Coordinate activities under project management and technical consulting delivery for different projects and assignments, such as stakeholder mapping, desk research and data analysis.
• Contribute to CID’s knowledge management by developing methodologies in key thematic areas and participating in knowledge management. Marketing and Communications Track:
• Learn the foundations of consulting under the marketing and communications practice for clients in private and public sectors.
• Conduct and present research as it pertains to the various clients/projects/sectors of operation.
• Contribute to the development of recommendations to clients under the marketing and communications practice area.
• Coordinate activities under project management and technical consulting delivery for different projects and assignments, such as stakeholder mapping, communication audits, situational assessments, and data analysis.
• Curate and manage content for CID’s external communication channels, including social media, websites, SEO, and project success stories.
• Contribute to CID’s knowledge management by developing methodologies in key thematic areas and participating in knowledge management.
• Actively participate in brainstorming meetings or design thinking sessions to improve and innovate internal processes within CID and consulting delivery. Business Development Track:
• Conduct research on potential business development opportunities, competitive analysis, potential partners, opportunities proposals, and consultants.
• Support in mapping donors and private sector mapping.
• Assist in communication and coordination with partner companies on relevant proposals.
• Participate in internal brainstorming sessions in preparation for proposals.
• Support in the implementation of all business development initiatives.
• Contribute to the management of the consultants’ database including updating and accurate archiving. Finance & Accounting Track
• Conduct monthly bookkeeping and support in preparing backup documentation.
• Support in entering data on the accounting system including monthly closure and reconciliation.
• Assist in preparing reports requested by the Tax Authority.
• Participate in preparing company financial reports.
• Participate in the annual audit conducted by external auditors.
• Support in the implementation of all accounting-related tasks as assigned. Requirements
• Outstanding graduating seniors of relevant majors such as Marketing Communications/Mass Communications, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Political Science, or a related discipline.
• Ability to research versatile topics and disciplines.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eager to learn, grow, and expand their intellectual horizons.
• Highly Advanced computer skills
