About the Job

An established clinic is seeking a OBGYN Physician in Alexandria, LA.

  • Schedule:  Monday -Thursday 8am-5pm Friday 8am-12pm
  • Call/weekends: All weekend call is handled by laborist. RN's take clinic call and only call MD if necessary
  • Patient volume: 18 - 22 patients per day on OB / 18 patients per day on GYN, Average 15-20 deliveries a
    month
  • Setting: Inpatient/ Outpatient
  • Support structure: Dedicated support staff foreach MD plus 2-3 floats. (MA/LPN)
  • EMR: Epic

Qualifications

  • MD or DO
  • BC/BE in Obstetrics/Gynecology
  • Active Louisiana license or ability to obtain one
  • Candidate must be comfortable with all latest surgical (Robotic) standards, Di Vinci -training is
    available
  • Visa sponsorship – H1B or J1
