Diving Operation Manager

**Purpose/Key Accountabilities**

A leading Maritime Company is seeking a well
- experienced Diving Operation Manager. As a diving operation manager you will be responsible for overseeing the overall responsibility regarding the diving activities in all diving projects online for personnel, safety, client liaison, logistics and preventive maintenance programme of all diving projects and life support functions associated with the related offshore work programme.

**Detailed Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and manage the operation of all online projects.
- Direct supervision for all transportations and crew change inside and outside Egypt.
- Maintain smooth relationship and the operations between the client and project managers in the offshore.
- Give the needed instructions for the diving supervisor to carry out the detailed scope of work.
- Follow up the work progress for all online projects.
- Give the instruction for the diving equipment manager to prepare the needed equipment for the projects.
- Follow up the PMS for all online projects with the equipment manager.
- Ensure that the contract obligations are applied on site.
- Follow up the divers crew change with the crew change specialist.
- Ensure that all projects required arrive on site in suitable time and in good quality.
- Ensure that all projects required go in the right SAP process with the SAP specialist.
- Ensure that all safety notes and instructions reach the diving supervisor through HSE manager.
- Carry out any needed meeting with the clients to cover the client’s requests.
- Follow up the tenders with proposal coordinator.
- Prepare the technical part of the tenders.
- Review the diving procedures and update them as needed.
- Ensure that all online projects follow IMCA regulation and ISO standards.

**HSE Responsibilities**
- Ensures that all hazards are identified, risk assessment has been carried out and risk controls are implemented.
- Ensures implementation of the Company’s health and safety policy and other applicable arrangement related to QHSE are undertaken by all Company employees and carry out a risk assessment exercise before new operation.
- Ensures that personnel arriving on board the vessel are fully briefed regarding the work programme, dive system, operation and safety requirements in force on the vessel.
- Ensures that a safety meeting is convened and minted in accordance with the HSE manual.
- Action any corrective measures as defined by any documented audits and/or inspections carried out by safety department pertaining to personnel, the work site and supporting equipment.
- Ensures that Diving Operations are conducted from a suitable and safe place on the surface, in accordance with a “Permit to Work” system.
- Take reasonable care of own health and safety, and not to put other people - fellow employees and members of the public - at risk by what to do or don't do in the course of work.
- Suggest improvements and being active in the general improvement of all systems and methods of work to ensure company operations are carried out in a personally and environmentally safe, reliable and cost effective way.

**Requirements**:
**Education**

Bachelor degree of engineering.

The following Certificates:

- IMCA Diving Supervisor Ticket.
- HSE Part 1 or Equivalent.
- Diving First Aid.

**Experience**

11 years of experience in the offshore diving preferred in Oil & Gas and or related industry.

Age from 35 - 60 Years.

**Competencies**

Shall have enough knowledge, experience and training in various diving operations.

**Skills**
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Good user for MS-Office Tools.
- Good Management skills.
- Auto CAD 2d.
- Photo shop.
