**Responsibilities**:

- Work in AGILE fashion, i.e. receive new work packages in backlog every sprint (~2 weeks)
- Support Active Learning Development
- Transitioning data storage from file system to MongoDB
- Designing / improving interfaces and data structures for MongoDB
- Extending the backend REST API for additional features
- Improve existing code base (e.g., further modularization of existing frontend components)
- Implement new features, e.g.:

- Client-side storage for settings, annotations
- Unit test development

- Technologies: Strong Python, Flask, REST, MongoDB, Docker
