**Your responsibilities**:

- Design engineering solutions, including drawings and calculations according to specification. Contribute to design reviews and verification, modify designs as necessary.
- Follow work plans and cost estimates for work is ones' area of responsibility and ensure quality deliverables on time and at targeted cost.
- Identify variation requests to support the contract claims. Completes risk and opportunity assessments and the implementation of resulting actions is ones' areas of responsibility.
- Report any contract/quality/program/cost issues to management for resolution. Attend project meetings and present specific aspects of design assignments.
- Collaborate with the supply chain function, review vendor documentation, prepares RFQs, and provides design related evaluation of proposals for standard materials and equipment.
- Assist in communication with customer pertaining to specific project design assignments or meetings. Use standard processes and tools, assist in developing new processes and tools for reuse of technical solutions.
- Provide support and direction for entry level team members, which may include trainees and interns.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical engineering.
- Minimum 2 to 5 years’ experience is required as a designer for electrical networks, MV & LV switchgear, distribution transformers, UPS, cables, firefighting, GIS RMUs and RTUs IEC and relevant standards.
- Good knowledge and experience in electrical equipment with good knowledge about design processes and at least one year CAD program.
- Fluency in both spoken & written English & Arabic language is required.
