Category Manager

On-Hire is looking for a dynamic and results-driven **Category Manager** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing category strategies that align with our business objectives. Your expertise will help enhance product offerings, optimize sales performance, and drive overall category growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends, understand consumer behaviors, and ensure effective supply chain management.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop category plans that align with overall business objectives.
- Analyze market trends and consumer insights to inform product selection, pricing, and promotions.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop compelling category positioning and go-to-market strategies.
- Monitor category performance and adjust strategies as needed to maximize growth and profitability.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to ensure the best value.
- Work closely with merchandising to optimize inventory levels and product placement.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and threats.
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute category initiatives effectively and on time.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in category management, product management, or related roles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills with suppliers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with data analytics tools.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
