Amentum is actively seeking a Piping Planner/Estimator for International Fleet Support under the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) PMS 326 Follow-On Technical Support (FOTS) contract. **The work location will be at the Egyptian Naval Base in the port of Alexandria, Egypt. **This position includes a competitive benefits package.
**Essential responsibilities and daily duties include**:
- Performs Piping Planning of naval vessel availabilities as a member of the Amentum Planning and Estimating Team under the direction of the Lead Planner.
- Collaborates with all functional areas of the In-Country Team to facilitate piping workload planning activities for the Egyptian Navy.
- Verifies work specifications for assigned piping jobs.
- Supervises requisitioning of material required to complete work specifications.
- Sources and obtains technical references and answers technical specification questions.
- Ensures Technical Writers track work specifications to prevent delays.
- Trains local labor in technical writing and in overall skills sets.
- Provides timely and comprehensive inputs for the Monthly Status Report.
**Minimum Requirements**
- High School diploma or GED.
- One year of experience providing work package planning and estimating support for naval vessel availabilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must have good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to obtain a Country Clearance and Base Pass authorization.
- Possess a current passport at least two years before expiration after arrival in Egypt.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Work Package planning and estimating support experience with multiple platform types of the Egyptian Navy including Perry Class Guided Missile Frigates (FFG), Fast Missile Craft (FMC), Mine Hunter Coastal (MHC), Patrol Coastal (PC), Coastal Mine Hunter (CMH), and Fast Patrol Craft (FPC).
