**Job description**:

- A Senior Professional Services is needed to focus on an internal best-of-breed Portfolio Management software. The product line offers out-of-the-box and custom integrations with other facets of the client’s IT ecosystem, including upstream elements such as CRM or Human Capital Management (HCM) systems; downstream systems such as Accounting and ERP systems.

As the Implementation Consultant, you will be a trusted advisor and product expert for new and existing customers while building and maintaining relationships with our internal and external strategic customers.

From vetting requirements to post-launch support, you will play a pivotal role in the success of project delivery. Your journey begins with an analysis of client needs, through system design, and testing, to go live and beyond. You will work closely with internal team members such as Project Managers, Solution Consultants, BAs, CSMs, and Support Specialists. You will also have strong ties to the Support and Product Team to ensure clients' needs are being addressed promptly.

- Providing professional advice, guidance, and actionable solutions to businesses.
- Gathering and analyzing customer requirements as well as translating underlying business need to solution architecture.
- Design of system configuration and custom reporting for clients.
- Support of User Acceptance Testing.
- Go-live planning and guidance through an incubation period after go-live.
- Application of in-depth product knowledge and best practices.
- Addressing potential challenges to meet or exceed established timelines.
- Having client-facing calls for escalations and/or scope.
- Delivering quality service within budget constraints and seeking ways to reduce costs.
- Prioritizing opportunities to harmonize the interests of the company and our clients.
- Collaborating with various cross-functional teams to define and determine requirements, and improve our products and knowledge.
- Participating in organizational projects outside of your immediate team.
- Delivering training to customers and internal stakeholders via a virtual classroom.
- Participating in the development and management of training documentation and curriculum, ensuring they are the latest revisions and accessible to all.
- participating in the Ask the Experts sessions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software/Systems/Telecom Engineering or equivalent.
- 6 - 8 years of professional experience in the IT domain, with at least 2 years of technical expertise.
- 2+ years in Business Systems Analysis, Consulting, or any customer-facing role.
- 2+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
- Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, PMI, Lean, etc.)
- Ability to quickly understand customers’ complex processes and needs, and assist them in defining clear goals, to ensure a successful implementation.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting services.
- Broad knowledge of business technology solutions and a desire to learn new technologies.
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Effective communication across all levels of an organization, particularly executive stakeholders.
- Ability to manage difficult audiences and complex client relationships.
