RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Develops responsive front-end layout and user interface using modern HTML, CSS and
- JavaScript code based on customer requirements and use cases.
- Tests and validates all features and HTML, CSS and JavaScript code functions properly
- across all common web browsers. Identifies and develops solutions to issues.
- Tests and validates HTML, CSS and JavaScript code meets industry standards and is
- compatible with all devices. Identifies and develops solutions to issues.
- Write clean, usable and testable codes.
- Work cross functionally with other developers, web designers, project managers and
- customers to ensure all deliverables are on time and meet requirements.
- Maintains a professional understanding of web development by tracking new
- advancements in user-interface design, cross-browser compatibility standards and general
- web development best practices.
- Accomplishes company goals by accepting ownership of new and different requests.
- Tackles complex problems that require deep technical knowledge and creativity.
- Responsible for identifying and resolving bottlenecks, architectural challenges, and
- performance issues.
- Communicates effectively with various stakeholders, including non-technical team members,
- clients, and executives.
- Collaborates across multiple teams, including design, product management, and operations,
- to align on project goals.
- Drives innovation by recommending new tools, frameworks, and best practices.
- Leads Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Mentors junior developers, conducts code reviews, and sets coding standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Must have 5+ years of verifiable web development experience using HTML, CSS and
- JavaScript. This is an absolute requirement of the position and will be verified during the
- interview process.
- Must have 2+ years of verifiable experience using HTML semantics and must follow W3C
- coding conventions and standards for writing HTML5 code.
- 2+ years of experience with using version control — e.g. GitHub and/or BitBucket using
- command line interface (CLI)
- Direct experience with tools which facilitate debugging processes for various
- browsers.
- Solid understanding of modern CSS and ability to create responsive layouts.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, including creating reusable functions, managing loops,
- manipulating objects, and utilizing array methods for data processing and manipulation.
- Excellent understanding of Search Engine Optimization. Experience in optimizing page speed
- (based on Google’s Core Web Vitals metrics) is a MUST.
- Monitor and analyze site performance metrics using tools like Lighthouse or Google
- Pagespeed Insights
- Basic understanding of ADA compliant web development.
- Hands-on experience with network diagnostics.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to write and edit technical documentation.
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Proven ability to manage a sizable number of web development projects with excellent
- prioritization and multitasking abilities.
- Coachable, open to feedback and dedicated to constant self-improvement.
