About the job NOC MS SQL Admin Manager

**Purpose of the job**

To manage and maintain Microsoft SQL databases.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Ensure the highest level of Databases availability, Data integrity, Security, Best practices, and Performance.
- Monitor and Maintain Microsoft SQL databases.
- Perform data recovery in case of any failure.
- Follow up with the vendor support to solve or improve any technical issue.
- Maintain database Security, upgrades, patching and migrations.
- Manage DB permissions and troubleshoot backup issues.

**Job specification**

**Education**
- Bachelors degree in engineering or computer science from a recognized university.

**Experience**
- At least 6 years' experience in Microsoft SQL Database administration with advanced setup, design, implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Experience in SQL database administration, database maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience in SQL Database Performance and tuning.
- Must have good experience on Microsoft Failover clustering and SQL Server always on.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Very Good knowledge in Linux/Windows operating systems.
