**WE ARE HIRING FOR A MEDICAL CENTER IN DAMMAM, SAUDI ARABIA Child And Adolescent Psychiatrist**
Job Summary
As a psychiatrist, you will evaluate, monitor, and diagnose patients to determine treatment and recovery plans. You will counsel patients, write prescriptions, and monitor patients’ progress, while being compassionate and sensitive to their needs and concerns.
Qualifications and Experience
⮚ Psychiatry Saudi Board or an equivalent degree recognized by the SCFHS
⮚ at least 3- 5 years of clinical experience post training in general Psychiatry or subspecialty
⮚ Hold a valid license from the SCFHS or eligible to obtain one
⮚ Child experience is a plus
Technical Knowledge & Skills
⮚ Adequate computer skills
⮚ Familiar with electronic records
⮚ Ability and flexibility to work within a team
⮚ UpToDate knowledge with international treatment guidelines
⮚ Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Arabic and English
**Responsibilities**:
1. Conduct standard & comprehensive psychiatric assessment either in person or remotely to obtain proper medical history, assess risk, formulate diagnosis, and appropriate treatment.
2. Establish therapeutic relationship with patient and family
3. Prescribe medications according to diagnosis. Follow up and monitor response and side effects.
4. Educate patient and family about diagnosis and offered treatment options.
5. Complete initial assessment and progress notes in timely manner in electronic records
6. Complete medical reports for concerned patients/clients
7. Conduct family meeting when required
8. Referral to colleagues within the center or outside as deemed necessary
9. Request appropriate investigations or testing when required to assist diagnosis and treatment
10. Liaison with RRC treating team
11. Attend peer review rounds for continuity of care as needed
12. Contribute to the development of RRC with research involvement and community outreach if interested
13. Follow code of ethics and professionalism
14. Abide by the RRC policies and procedures
Salary is Negotiable
**Salary**: E£1.00 per month

- Psychiatrist: 7 years (preferred)
License/Certification:
- license from the SCFHS or eligible to obtain one (preferred)
