We create products and solutions catering for the worldwide telecommunications market, which is exploding with new and exciting opportunities made possible by new developments as virtualized radio access networks (RANs). The market consists of communication service providers, managed service providers, hosting companies, content delivery network companies, cloud service providers, and consumer/enterprise web-technology providers.

Our engineering team is responsible for the creation and delivery of great software products and solutions, as well as services offerings for and to this market. The team works closely with a world-class product management team in defining and road-mapping the offerings. What you’ll achieve

As a Software Engineer 2, you will work with a cross functional global team to design, build and deliver production ready software with Dell standards.

You will:

- Demonstrate your ability to design, code, test, and deliver Dell’s Bare Metal orchestrator product for our Telecom Systems Business
- Contribute to the effort on automation, CI/CD processes and tools to make our services simpler and more robust
- Be an active member of an agile team, collaboratively realizing features through development, test, and delivery

Desirable Requirements

Graduate from Computer Science or a related field

Essential Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of related experience
- Knowledge of Object-oriented programming & Data Structures
- Proficiency in one or more of the following languages (Java, Golang, Python, C/C++)
- Experience with front-end HTML5/CSS/JavaScript (jQuery, Bootstrap, extJS, Knockout, Angular, React, Vue)
- Experience of micro-services APIs, Web Services, JSON
- Preferred knowledge of Container Technologies (Dockers, Kubernetes) and Containers Network Interface.

Preferred experience:
Network basics (TCP/IP stack, networking, security, and common Internet services/protocols such as SNMP, DNS, LDAP, NTP, HTTP)

Key Responsibilities
- Implementation and delivery of Bare metal orchestrator solution (BMO) using Agile methodologies
- Key player in the complete software life cycle from requirements leading to design and development in CI/CD frameworks
- Demonstrate the ability to work and thrive in fast paced virtual development environments
