DESCRIPTION: Key job responsibilities Own reporting of the critical capacity planning metrics across FCs.
- Accumulate data from different sources, conduct analysis, recommend solutions, build action plan and drive execution.
- Support operations team with capacity analysis and drive capacity execution with supply chain stakeholders.
- Foresee implications based on the projected storage capacity requirement vs available storage capacity in the region and come up with innovative and optimal storage solutions to support capacity storage requirements.
- Regularly audit the sites for operational conformance, norms of capacity planning and standard operating practices.
- Own capacity configurations in the tools (ACMS) to avoid physical-virtual mismatches in the reported site's capacities.
- Work with engineering design and FC launch project team to ensure all the design inputs are considered as per the standard requirements.
- Drive execution of critical capacity planning projects to enhance network capacity and optimize bin slotting changes.
- Own short terms tasks and evaluations related to network topology
- Own long term topology planning in partnership with strategy and Dex teams About the team Supply chain and Launches team plays a key role in the mission of delivering best in class service to Amazon's customers through scaling and expanding the network. The team coordinates project plans and tracks execution across stakeholders from business, technology, design, procurement and construction teams. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
