**Summary of the role**:
The 3D Architectural Animator is responsible for creating high-quality architectural animations for residential projects requiring strong skills in 3D animation, technical problem-solving, and a collaborative approach to design and production.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Participate in pre-production planning, including storyboarding, animatics, creative concept development, and visual styles for architectural animations.
- Develop dynamic walkthroughs, fly throughs, and interactive animations for residential architecture projects.
- Collaborate with other team members, including interior designers, technical engineers to develop cohesive animations.
- Use 3D software to create high-quality animations for various architectural projects.
- Ensure that all animations meet the project’s creative vision and technical specifications.
- Bring characters, objects and environments to life through fluid and expressive animations using keyframe animation, motion capture and other techniques.
- Implement timing, pacing and motion principles to enhance the realism and impact of animations.
- Use lighting, shading and camera techniques to improve the visual quality of animations.
- Take direction and feedback while iterating on the visuals until they meet the highest quality and creativity standards expected of the project.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to animation software, rendering or asset management.
- Maintain a pipeline of assets from concept to final delivery for every project.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience as a 3D Architectural Animator or equivalent role.
- Demonstrable portfolio with a strong understanding of animation techniques.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Solid expertise in modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and animating in architectural spaces.
- Solid understanding of animation principles, timing and motion dynamics.
- Proficiency in 3D animation software, such as Autodesk 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D.
- Experience with composting software such as Adobe After Effects.
- Strong eye for detail and visual aesthetics.
- Creative mindset with ability to problem solve complex technical issues.
- Excellent time management skills, with ability to deliver on time to meet project expectations.
- Good written and verbal English language.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
