**Job Main Scope**:
The Manufacturing Excellence Manager is responsible for managing and driving the implementation of the continuous improvement process across NALI manufacturing sites through landing the UMS agenda, by identification, evaluation and elimination of production losses and waste. This is achieved by building a Factories Master Plan, identifying key projects with functional leaders, developing and managing skill base within manufacturing team, and delivering appropriate coaching.

**Responsibilities**:

- Investigate and deploy latest continuous improvement tools and digital strategies
- Engagement with Key stakeholders and peers across geographies
- Team player with proven problem-solving capabilities (If from outside, Black belt preferred)
- Lead the implementation of the continuous improvement process across NALI, with a focus on identifying, evaluating, and eliminating production losses and waste.
- Coordinate and coach Pillar Leads on Unilever Manufacturing System (UMS) ensuring adherence to standardized methodologies and best practices
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to define improvement targets, develop action plans, and monitor progress toward operational excellence goals
- Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes, equipment utilization, energy consumption, and material waste
- Lead cross-functional teams in root cause analysis and problem-solving exercises to address production issues and implement sustainable solutions
- Co-own PD pillar with HR, to identify and roll out needed training to the factory population
- Develop and deliver training programs and workshops to build capabilities in continuous improvement methodologies across the organization
- Support the implementation of site improvement programs, including SMED, Center-lining and Kaizen workshops
- Manage and analyze performance data, including KPIs, to identify trends, highlight areas of improvement, and drive data-based decision-making
- Collaborate with global ManEX network to share best practices, leverage knowledge, and contribute to the development of standardized manufacturing excellence guidelines
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence by promoting teamwork, open communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving

**Job Main Experience** & Qualifications required**:

- 8+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Proven experience in driving process improvements, reducing waste, and optimizing manufacturing operations.
- Familiarity with (UMS).
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results within established timelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
- Excellent leadership and coaching abilities, with the capacity to inspire and engage cross-functional teams.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to lead change/transformation with positive impact
- Willingness to travel as needed to support implementation and collaboration efforts across the region.
