Amazon Payment Services is regional expert in payment processing technology and solutions across major markets in the GCC & Levant countries, operating in UAE, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Jordan and Qatar.

Key job responsibilities
Primary scope of focus will be program management for Risk function (Buyer-risk, Merchant-risk, etc. operational teams)
Identify problems, conceptualize & test solutions and run programs to achieve business goals.
Identify & scope areas of improvement within the team, process & function
Create mechanisms to increase process execution speed, individual and team productivity
Design & implement mechanism’s or processes to scale program execution capacity while reducing the need to scale resources
Plan, forecast & resolve blockers that limit long term scaling
Facilitate deliver results and reduce costs

Assess brand reputation, compliance, fraud, and financial risk to determine risk exposure and lead risk management programs set to enhance our risk posture towards mitigating those risks
Develop program tools, processes, and methodologies to help ensure that risks are
effectively and efficiently identified, assessed, monitored, and managed
Develop resources to educate stakeholders on the Risk processes, roles, and responsibilities, fostering and influencing a culture of accountability and risk-informed decision making
a) Orchestrate and support day-to-day activities and enable high levels of connectivity, communication, and execution across efforts.
b) Create mechanisms to manage inter-dependencies, escalations, action planning and sequencing.
Prepare and continuously improve monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reporting, materials, and analytics to be used for a variety of executive management audiences, governance formats, and stakeholders that provide
insights, performance updates, and enable decision making.
Contribute to the facilitation of risk assessments, recommending approaches for assessment criteria, and analyzing outputs.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external business partners and develop a broad understanding of business processes and Risk Management practices.
Assist with the development, implementation, and monitoring of fraud prevention
initiatives.
Collaborate with 3rd party and acquiring banks to develop and execute plans for the resolution of fraud cases.

Master’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics. 6+ year of relevant experience in a financial, banking, or credit card processing field. Experience in merchant underwriting at an Acquiring Bank. Knowledge and experience in SQL. Project/Program Management experience. Experience in Legal or Law Enforcement fields.
