This position works with your EGPC counterpart to co-manage the operations, facilities and operations and to provide leadership and direction to all the departments reporting into this position. The role will provide experienced leadership, direction, advice and support to The Production, Process, Water flood, Wireline, ESP, Sucker Rod, Lab, Corrosion, Construction and field Operations teams with the aim of meeting safety, production and Water flood objectives with minimum downtime. You will also work closely with the AG HSE, Projects, and Maintenance managers as well as Cairo teams to ensure all areas are working together where the operations overlap, with a focus on continues improvement.

**KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Stand down co-workers, contractors, or the public if you recognize any unsafe act on Apache/KPC-operated property.
- Co-leadership of a multi discipline Operations teams ranging from inexperienced graduate engineers to experienced professionals across multiple locations.
- Regularly review production & water flood forecasts, drilling and work over schedules to identify future needs. Work with your team to develop tie-in plans for new and work over wells. Confirm if processes can handle planed oil, water and gas volumes and if not, quickly provide recommendations on what is needed to ensure maximum production rates, and water injection at full target rates. Identify system bottle necks, or ongoing process problems and recommend and implement plans to resolve problems.
- Have a sense of urgency. Make sure you and your team are addressing things in as short a time as possible. Reply to Cairo requests as soon as possible. Do not let good ideas take months to complete. Work Ideas and projects through the system daily until they are competed.
- Remain current in all regulatory, technical, and business programs applicable to the role and follow related practices and processes.
- Meet role-specific goals and objectives as assigned; May be requested to participate in their development. Track your area KPI’s and goals and provide a summary report to managers every quarter.
- Be able to work on a 14/14 rotation in a remote isolated location. Qualifications & Experience

**EDUCATION**:

- High School Diploma
- Preference for oil and gas related post-secondary education.

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum 10 years Oil and Gas or equivalent related industry experience
- Site specific training requirements
