**About The Role**:
Gleeds Egypt is looking for M&E Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager responsible for carrying out quantity surveying of different MEP trades on wider sector of construction projects from early cost advice to settlement of the final account.

**Responsibilities**:

- Performing quantity take off and produce cost plans and Bills of Quantities.
- Valuating construction works and production of interim and final payment recommendations.
- Make sure that all costs and quantity records are streamlined and kept in order.
- Preparing Final Account with all supporting documents.
- Valuation of variations
- Mentoring and training junior quantity surveyors.
- Delivering high quality services and ensuring that cost management deliverables meet customers’ requirements deliverables in accordance with the business procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.

**About You**:

- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
- 7+ years post graduate demonstrable experience in different aspects of quantity surveying and construction methods and materials
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical logical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Ability to think creatively and identity cost saving opportunities
- Working knowledge of software typically associated with quantity surveying e.g., REVIT.
- Sound knowledge and practical experience of cost estimating and cost planning techniques.
- Working knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.
- Be able to work as a part of a team
