We are currently seeking a **Senior Software Development Engineer** to join our **Calibre Pattern Matching** team in **Cairo, Egypt**.

The Calibre Pattern Matching tool provides signoff-quality pattern classification, matching, and debugging integrated with the Calibre suite of verification tools. Benefit from the speed and accuracy of pattern matching is utilized across Calibre design and manufacturing flows. This is a role with a truly global scope, and the opportunity to drive continuous improvement of one our most important services.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Design, develop, modify, and implement software programming for products (both internal and external) with focus on surpassing customers expectations by achieving high quality and on time delivery.
- Responsible for ensuring the overall functional quality of the released product on all required platforms and mechanism.
- Creates, documents, and executes software designs which may involve complicated workflows or multiple product areas.
- Works with general supervision on complex projects with latitude for independent judgment.

**Required skills, knowledge and experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related technical field.
- +3 years of experience.
- Experience in S/W programming using C++.
- Familiar with S/W algorithms and data structures.
- Good knowledge of the IC flow as well as Semiconductor fabrication and Physical Verification is an asset.
- Knowledge in Unix/Linux operating system environments.
- Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share your knowledge with others.
