**Alumil, a leader in the production of architectural aluminium systems, is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations.**

**The role**
The Plant Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing every facet of our production facility, ensuring that our manufacturing processes are executed with precision and efficiency. This dynamic position involves strategic production planning, upholding quality standards, reducing production costs, and effectively managing personnel to achieve our organization’s operational and financial goals.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive efficiency, manage plant operations, and ensure a safe and productive work environment.

**Your impact**
As the Plant Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the company’s high standards of quality and safety. Your leadership will help to foster a productive work environment, enabling the team to meet production targets while continuously looking for ways to enhance processes and reduce waste.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily operations of the plant, including the Aluminium Powder Coating Line, Aluminium Extrusion Line, and Accessories Production.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand while ensuring cost efficiency and minimizing downtime.
- Implement Lean manufacturing techniques and encourage a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to address any product non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
- Lead and manage a team of production supervisors, technicians, and operators.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training and development to improve team capabilities.
- Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability among all plant employees.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Develop and manage the plant budget, including labor, materials, and overhead costs.
- Monitor production costs and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve profitability.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, quality, cost, and safety.
- Prepare regular reports on plant operations, challenges, and improvement initiatives.

**Requirements**:
**You are bringing with you**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in plant management within the manufacturing industry, preferably with experience in aluminium extrusion or powder coating.
- Proficiency in Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma (certification is a plus).
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with different departments and manage a diverse team.
- Proficient in using manufacturing software and ERP systems.
