YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Works collaboratively with Merchandising Team in partnership to achieve the goals.
- Creates, drives and sustains highly effective and influential key relationships with internal and external partners that deliver the business objectives.
- Acts as a problem solver for the team and a business partner with the counterparts for all strategic fabric and garment sourcing projects.
- Identifies opportunities and works closely with Merchandising Team to negotiate better prices.
- Promotes and implements best practice on costing analysis to the brands.
- Consolidates and understands Cost Breakdown Sheets and builds strategies to mitigate unnecessary costs.
- Ensures that the local, regional, and Hong Kong Sourcing merchandising teams are aware of market developments, resource capabilities, competitors’ activities, and price movements.
- Manages RFI, clean sheet and RFQ launch process.
- Conducts data analysis, builds up baselines per season, provides and updates base spending analysis.
- Identifies styles and areas to negotiate FOB prices with vendors directly.
- Ensures timely and accurate KPI and score card updates.
- Works closely with vendors and laundries to ensure costs are submitted accurately and on time
- Establishes effective communication and collaboration with Merchandising, Engineering and Fabric Teams on solving all costing discrepancies.
- Ensures the accuracy of information that is passed on to the concerned parties on time.
- Schedules and conducts effective and timely regular meetings with the brands to communicate and align on the current and future sourcing initiatives.

- 2 years experience in apparel industry_._
- ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS_
- Graduation from any reputed University_
- Textile education will be plus_
- SPECIFIC WORKING CONDITIONS_ _( if any)_
- Include but not limited to_
- _ Frequency of travel: 30%_
- _ External communication required: 70%_
