You will be working as a Procurement Specialist and will be the part of Electrification Business Area for Distribution Solutions Division based in 10th of Ramadan City, Egypt. In this role you will be reporting to SCM Manager and will be responsible to support the implementation, maintenance and compliance of Procurement & Logistics (PL) Practice approved activities. Executes assigned activities based on the standard procedures.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Identify new suppliers in cooperation with relevant category team and qualify new suppliers in cooperation with Supplier Quality and Engineering specialists.
- Design and implement plans for local sourcing to reach the business targets. Support regional and global sourcing initiatives as required, when working for GBS centers, support specific assigned tasks related to sourcing, like e-sourcing activities.
- Create and update reports, as required, following the ABB standards. Adapt corporate contractual framework to the local business needs and recommend frame agreements to management and executes upon approval.
- Conduct all Procurement & Logistics activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures. Ensure Pro-Supply global supplier relationship management platform is kept updated as defined in ABB Tools procedure.
- Follow all ABB Ethics and OHS instructions. Execute effective and transparent communication internally & externally and between different units and centers.

**Your background**:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- minimum 2 years of experience in Procurement & supply chain
- experience in manufacturing industry is considered a plus
- Experienced in using different Microsoft programs. SAP user experience is a plus.
- Fluency in both spoken & written English & Arabic language is required.
