Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Senior Ansible CI/CD Pipeline Developer for one of our partners, a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services.
This position requires flexibility to work on US times and flexibility to travel abroad when needed.
**Job Summary**:
As a Senior Ansible CI/CD Pipeline Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Ansible-based CI/CD pipelines that automate the build, test, and deployment processes for our tools and products which support our client-facing services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Ansible with other CI/CD tools and technologies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design, develop, and maintain Ansible-based CI/CD pipelines that automate the build, test, and deployment processes for the product/s they are supporting
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate Ansible with existing CI/CD tools and technologies, such as Jenkins, Git, and Docker
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Ansible playbooks, pipelines, and integrations
- Work with QA teams to develop and implement automated testing and validation scripts using Ansible
- Collaborate with other teams supporting the platform to ensure Ansible pipelines are integrated with monitoring, logging, and security tools
- Develop and maintain documentation for Ansible pipelines, playbooks, and integrations
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Ansible features, best practices, and industry trends

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in developing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Ansible
- Strong expertise in Ansible, including playbook development, role management, and module creation
- Knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Jenkins and Git
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with other CI/CD tools such as Travis CI, CircleCI, or GitLab CI/CD is a plus
- Certification in Ansible or other relevant technologies is a plus
