Operations Internship

The global travel retail industry is a €70 Billion market expected to double by the end of this decade. Despite its size, it is an industry that has seen very little digitalization and innovation over the past two decades. This must be solved.

The timing could not be better to emerge as a category winner: the global pandemic has accelerated the demand for a better and renewed approach to global travel retail, and as the world begins to open again, pent-up demand for travel and travel-related retail is set to boom as brands, retailers, airports, and airlines are doubling down their efforts to make up for lost sales.

We are looking for a student or graduate who wants to do their **I**nternship** with us at Duffle in our **Operations** department. You will ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction with DUFFLE services. You will collaborate with our CPH airport team and the HQ team in Berlin. This is a unique opportunity to have your first career step in an environment where you will see the results of your work in delivering a great travel experience at the CPH airport. You will report to the Operations Manager of CPH airport.

**What you will do**:

- You will learn the vast inner work of DUFFLE - you will have a direct impact on the daily execution of the Duffle App, and you will learn how to coordinate the Duffle Runner fleet, improving their operational performance.
- You will build and sustain a long-term relationship with our stakeholders at the airport.
- You will monitor KPIs and ensure further development of performance management.
- Project ad-hoc solutions to quickly fix problems and avoid recurrences in the future.
- You will ensure **smooth operations** and **high customer satisfaction** with DUFFLE services.
- You will work on various new projects and initiatives to improve end-to-end operational efficiency.
- You will interact with the Central Operations team in HQ daily to monitor the flow of events happening on the ground - airport.

**Copenhagen at the airport**.

**About your profile**:

- You are a student currently doing (or completing) a Bachelor/Master's in the field of Data Management, Business Management, Industrial engineering, Supply Chain, Warehouse management, or equivalent
- You have **strong analytical skills** and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- You are meticulous, have logical thinking, and can crunch numbers.
- You are **hungry for learning**, taking pride and ownership in everything you do.
- You are a **natural problem solver** with strong attention to detail and ethics.
- You are proactive and able to anticipate issues and take action.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience building and presenting business cases and recommendations.
- You speak English and Danish fluently.
