Senior Security Engineer

Help AG is looking for a Senior Security Engineer - HSM & PKI who will be having beginner to intermediate experience to manage and operate security technologies, focusing on Hardware Security Modules (HSM) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), with secondary expertise in Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), F5 Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and Cloud Security (Azure and AWS).

**Responsibilities**
- HSM & PKI Management:
- Administer and manage Hardware Security Modules (HSM) and PKI services, including key management, certificate issuance, renewal, and lifecycle processes.
- Ensure secure cryptographic operations, troubleshoot HSM/PKI issues, and maintain compliance with security policies and industry standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support secure integrations and maintain accurate documentation and audit trails.
- Firewall & WAF Operations:

- Manage day-to-day operations of NGFW firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), monitor logs, and respond to security incidents.
- Cloud Security:

- Develop and implement security configurations in Azure and AWS, monitor cloud environments for vulnerabilities, and manage access controls.
- Collaborate with cloud operations teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures and continuous compliance with cloud security standards.
- Incident Response & Reporting:
- Participate in incident detection, analysis, and response, providing detailed reports on security incidents, trends, and improvements.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement operational enhancements and improve security posture based on incident learnings.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with HSM, PKI, NGFW firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), F5 WAF, and cloud security (Azure, AWS).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, industry standards, and compliance requirements.
- Relevant certifications such as PCNSE, NSE4, F5 Certified Administrator, or AWS/Azure certifications are a plus.
- Proficient in operational security tasks related to HSM, PKI, network security, and cloud environments.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-team coordination. Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced operational environment
